About us
A1 Up & Over Doors (Heysham) Ltd have been established for over 40 years. It has always been a family run business, founded by Brian Stones Snr and joined by James Stones (Brian's son) in 1997 and Lynda Stones (Brian's wife & James' Mum) in 2004.
James worked alongside Brian for over 25 years and has now been at the helm for over 6 years. Although now retired, both Brian and Lynda still offer invaluable help and advice to the next generation of the company.
James' brother-in-law Ryan Bodley joined the business in 2019 as an installer and Jen Stones (James' wife/Ryan's sister) joined the company in 2023 taking over from Lynda's role in the office. Both have proved themselves as dedicated, conscientious and friendly members of our small family business.
Between them, James & Ryan cover all aspects of measuring and installing garage doors and electric operators, as well as maintenance and repairs, offering all their customers a professional and friendly service.
